Employees praised for "working miracles"

6th January 2015

Employees at a Tewkesbury firm hit by a serious fire have been praised for "working miracles" to get it back on track.

The MX Group, which makes showers, suffered serious damage to its factory in Alpha Close on the Delta Drive part of Tewkesbury Industrial Estate on the night of November 13 and the early hours of the following morning.

But chairman Bernard Robinson has revealed that just three days later, hard work by its workers meant a clean-up had been completed and production was under way again.

He said: "By the Monday afternoon at 3.30, our incredible employees had worked miracles and we had not only cleaned down, cleaned all the soot out, we had washed and cleaned and prepared all of the moulds and we were making ABS stone resin shower trays"
